Yay! This week OneWedge will be breaking ground on two new Electric Plazas (https://bit.ly/3Izcf3r) located in Milano (west and north), strategically-placed by big logistic centres.
They will provide charging and parking services to a growing fleet of electric delivery vans operated by the largest last-mile delivery companies and they will be our largest installations so far, with 40 charging + 80 parking stalls each.
I believe that size is also the practical capacity limit for our Electric Plazas: while technically we could potentially grow vertically without too much effort (and with some economies-of-scale benefits) I am not sure the local road infrastructure in most locations supports parks with, say, 200 or 300 vans all arriving and leaving at the same time of the day, so I think the future is one of distributed, medium-sized installations like these.
The pipeline further includes two more in Milano (south and east quadrants), two in Rome (northbound and southbound) and one in Bologna.
Off to a good start !
