Field activity moves faster than this blog.
It’s been less than three months since we inaugurated our second Electric Plaza and mere weeks after I reported breaking ground on the two Plazas of Milano and today I’m happy to report that OneWedge has started work on ELEVEN more plants in Lombardy, Sicily and Rome.
Each new plant starts with a on-site visit to assess the situation, check maps & measurements and collect information from the local operations in terms of current needs & limitations as well as growth potential: the last thing we want is to deliver a new Plaza only to re-open the building site six months later because needs are growing.
In my recent visit in Sicily I visited one location where the Plaza will be THREE TIMES as big as originally planned !
Obviously each project comes with a full stack of documents and certifications, which means our design office is working overtime to churn out all the paperwork.
It’s also good to see we’re able to scale-up our delivery capability quite fast while keeping the quality very high, as requested by the professional clients we look after. True, there are cheaper solutions available out there, but if your Plaza is operational 24/7/365, you CANNOT cut corners!
Lastly, our second generation charging station built to our specifications is rolling off the assembly line, courtesy of our very capable technological partners: a full steel frame joining elegant design and top-of-class engineering, as you would expect from a 100% made in Italy product!
I hope I will be able to share soon the first images of our logo proudly emblazoned on our Mk.2 charging stations.
